Expert Led Care

Dr. Rachel Nesburg, PT, DPT, PCES Founder + Doctor of Physical Therapy

Rachel is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with experience across orthopedic care, pelvic health, and return-to-sport rehabilitation. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy through an accelerated, direct-admit program at Marquette University, where she also received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Biological Sciences.

Her clinical training spans hospital and private healthcare settings, and she is a published American College of Sports Medicine researcher and author on studies investigating elite marathon running and Olympic swimming performance.

Rachel created Pliyo to offer a more personal approach to health, movement, and performance by integrating cross-disciplinary research from physical therapy, strength training, yoga, Pilates, and longevity science.
